Deacon Elections
Deacon elections will be held in the month of August.
Timeline: August 14th 2010: We are asking for names to be added/removed from nomination list until this Saturday.
August 15th 2010: Troutman Baptist Church will provide its members with a final list of names of deacon nominees.
Please be in prayer for whom God would lead you to vote for during this process.
August 22nd 2010: Vote for 4 names from the list, the top 8 names will be posted in the newsletter, and on the website.
August 25th 2010: Wednesday night testimony service for those 8 men who were chosen.
August 29th 2010: Final vote on Sunday morning to elect 4 deacons to serve a 3 year term.
Deacon criteria for Troutman Baptist Church:
Male member of Troutman Baptist Church, actively enrolled in Sunday school and members at least one (1) year,
(August 1, 2009 to August 1, 2010), who are twenty-one (21) years of age by September 1, 2010, and Southern Baptist three (3) years.
The 8 deacons that will be giving their testimony on Wednesday August 25th are:

The Deacons shall be elected from among those members who have proven themselves to have scriptural qualifications
according to I Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
